President - Third Party Administrator

A successful, well established and rapidly growing Third Party Administrator (TPA) for public and private self funded clients is seeking a president to lead the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on senior manager with a thorough understanding of TPA operations and management of the health insurance industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for daily operations including process efficiency, maintenance of service levels, oversight of best practice and regulatory compliance in Financial, IT, HR, Sales & Marketing, Underwriting, Client Services and Claims Department.
• Responsibility for the Company's staff, work closely with department heads.
• Maintain relationships with major clients and their consultants.
• Responsibility for the continued growth of the Company's revenue, profits and cash flow while maintaining its margins.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years senior operations management experience at a Third Party Administrator or healthcare insurance company.
• Strong knowledge of self-insured plans, claims adjudication and all related regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA etc.)
• Comprehensive communication and management skills working with all levels of employees.
• Strong financial skills including familiarity with financial processes and reporting, and budget development, and fundamental understanding of GAAP compliance principles.
• Established record of developing and maintaining senior level client relationships.
• Underwriting background a plus not a must.
• Requires BA degree or higher.
